vista screen icons

    how does one remove screen icons to a folder like that available on xp? i have icons that i dont use...please help...getting frustrated...lol

    Hi

    Sadly Vista does nto have that option it was removed, what you could do as a work around is to create a folder of your own in C: Drive ( eg. unused desktop icons ) and cut and paste the icons you do not want on desktop there for storage.

    or if you dont use them delete them as the main application they shortcut to will still be in All Programs list, from there you can alwasy right click the application and create a new shortcut for desktop. ( right click application and choose Send to > Desktop as Shortcut )
