    The preliminaries

    1. I am running a 2.4 Gig P4 with 1 Gig of DDR RAM and a 256 Meg 3d card. (Irrelevant I know)
    2. I have a Telstra G3 Wireless connection that works fine with XP Pro

A few weeks ago I subscribed to Testra (Bigond, Australia) for a G3 wireless connection under XP Pro, No problem at all. Last week I purchased Vista. Guess what? No Telstra MODEM recognition. I contacted Telstra and they emailed me a new driver. Guess what? Didn't work either. Considering that Testra (Australia) and Microsoft have an affiliation what is going on? At the moment I have to dual boot just to use my email!

    Please explain Generals

Are you using a 32bit verson of Vista or a 64 bit version of Vista? The two versions require different drivers, and 64 bit Vista drivers a rare.
