vista to xp

i just went from vista to xp and cant find drivers. it shows i need

other pci bridge device
pci device
pci simple communications controller
sm bus controller
video controller

i have looked for the drivers cant find them for this pc

Set a Restore Point, before installing these drivers.
I believe this is the chipset driver for your motherboard.

And this is your audio driver. But before installing it, try this update from HP and see if that fixes your audio.

PS: I haven't had much success in getting the sound back in an HP retrograde from Vista to XP. Yours is the first that I have suggested the upgrade for.

 

i got the video to work
and the sound but it still shows the cant start code 10
ill try yours and let you know how they work

 

ok the sound driver will not work on here
the update dowload you gave says its for pc,s with xp preinstalled and the chip set says
(please insert the last disk of the multi-volume set)

 

ok got the chip set to work helped all the way through all the video and sound now im still missing the (pci communications controller)
might need to just change it maybe,not real sure

ok i know now that the pci communications controller im missing has to be my wireless card its the only thing i cant find in my list the only thing i can find about it is this(Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g) not sure what driver i need. and i would like to thank you agin for all your help.

 

last but not lest i need the software and or drives for the dvd/cd/rw cant get it to work right

guess just going to go back to vista my pc crashed bed and i have to reinstall so i'm not messing with it agin too many programes and hardware too little drivers.
