Vista Ultimate Problem?

    Whenever I shut down my e machine with O.S. vista ultimate loaded on it, I always get a small screen that says 'The instruction at 0x01e3bad7 referenced memory running at 0x00000000. The memory could not be read. Click Ok to terminate program. I did a complete memory test of the hardware and it is 100% functional. I assume this must be the program but how do I correct this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
