    Hi

Moved your post from the thread it was tagged onto as dont know if your Windows version is the same as the post title listed above, are you running Windows Vista? (reason for moving is if we where to give you info for Vista and you are running XP it may not work properly or cause more problems).

Can you boot into safe mode (F8 at boot) and your PC not error?

    Some info to check HERE

But generally its your video card driver and maybe a conflict with an applicaton, the causes vary in the NV Loop issue.

What I would do is to download and install Driver Sweeper (BUT do not run it yet) download the lastest driver version for your graphic card (dont know what version nVidia card you have as you have not mentioned its make and model) BUT dont install yet.

Use Add/Remove and unsinstall your Nvidia Graphics Driver, then reboot into Safe Mode (F8 at boot) and then run Driver Sweeper to remove any Nvidia Graphics and Physx driver.

Then install the Nvidia driver you downloaded earlier and once installed if not prompted to reboot, reboot into normal mode.

If you need to know the model of card run the below as written and you can see what the card is in Computer > Summary and next to Video Adapter, or attach the log.
