Vista Vista Vista!

Hi to all!!

I've registered on this forum, with the hope that someone can help me out with the circles and complete and utter lack of understanding i have of vista!
I unfortunatly got the operating system 2weeks ago on a new packard bell desktop. I have limited understanding of it and am having problems with downloading new software and stopping pre installed software from 'Not responding'

My first problem is the quicktime software, i have tried downloading the alternative version recommended on this site, but vista keeps telling me the files are corrupt? am i the only one having this problem?

Also i run AOL for my sins and that along with my Kodak easyshare software
seem to stop responding! Vista tells me it's looking in to it but never seems to have the answer!

Any kind help and advice would really really be appreciated
