   Vista won't load and I can't reinstall.
   Any ideas based on this information. this is a slightly paraphrased message
   
   Windows failed to load because a critical system file is is missing or corrupted.
   Windows\system32\intelide.sys
   Status 0xc000000f
   
   Can’t reinstall the OS. Keep getting this error message when I try to boot with the Install disk.

   Have you tried F8 at startup and Last Known Good Configuration?

   I haven't come across anyone with a Vista system yet that has a proper fix for this.
