    Hi

How To Post A New Thread Requesting Support will help in future with posting a new question,

As to what software to run, then you have a few options, my security used in Windows Vista x64, is.....

    Antivirus ~ Avast
Anti Malware ~ Using Windows own built in Defender and Malwarebytes as a secondary scan
Firewall ~ Windows built in one in combination with my router.

Plus I use Spywareblaster to add any known bad sites etc to the exceptions list of IE and Firefox.

If your PC already came with say trial versions of Norton or McAfee thne do remove them fully first before installing and alternate software.

But main thing is securing yourself is to safe surf and know that the software you are downloading is from a legitimate downloads site like Majorgeeks, also have a read of this great guide from Chaslang our resident malware expert ~ How to Protect yourself from malware!
