Hey, I just have a question. I currently have Vista and am looking to go back to XP... I have the XP cd and i'm wondering if i will have to reinstall all the drivers I have (for VGA, mobo components etc.) once I go back to XP.. Also, i know that you can have both Vista and XP installed and choose which one to load... Do you guys think this is a good idea? I have both Vista and XP cd's so when Vista is more optimized, i plan on going back.. Thanks.

PS: will i have to format to go back to XP?

Since you have both disks, the easiest and best way to go is clean install XP, wiping out your current Vista install, making partitions along the way for Vista etc. Yes, you have to load drivers for each OS over again. This is for a dual boot.

You will have to format the partition that Vista is currently on when you install XP, it will give you options but I usually just do the quick one.

Yeah- you can't install XP 'over' Vista; you'll have to wipe out Vista to reload XP....
