Visual Basic 6.0 Help!

i;m new to VB, and i had a few questions. First of all, I was wondering about the Isdate function. I read this in on of those "Do it yourself manuals" and it doesnt seem to work, regardless of what i do. I was wondering if some of you could help me and list some common errors, because a lot of my friends are also having this problem, and rather than having you guys fix it and help me, i would rather learn how to do it myself. Also i had some other question regarding the MsgBox Function , can someone list common errors here to because some of them i recive are over flow message because i think i have excedded maximum char

I don't really know exactly what you're looking for. Maybe you should just try the manual.

That page covers pretty much everything you'd want to know about the msgbox command. Although to be perfectly honest most of the time all you'd do is type

msgbox "Message goes here"

Of course as you can see it's got plenty of other functions.

As for lsdate I don't think that is an actual VB function and I couldn't find it in the manual either.

 

It looks like you were asking about the isDate() function on another thread too... I believe Kodo explained what it does. What exactly do you not understand about it? What are you trying to do with it and why is it not working, e.g. what errors do you get when you try and use it?
