Visual Studio Alternatives

    I'm thinking of switching over to Linux does anyone know if there is a linux IDE to rival Visual Studio? Anyway to code C# and VB 2005 in a Linux IDE

    There are several nice IDEs for linux, both free and paid. (I personally like ActiveState's Komodo.)

    You may be able to code C# in Mono (An incomplete, open-source reimplementation of .NET) but VB is a purely microsoft-driven language, so it's right out.
