    Hey guys/gals,

I am creating a VLAN in my Cisco 4507 switch and the VLAN is working great except for one major problem...I cannot access the Internet. I have a sonicwall 3060, I have created an access rule allowing this new vlan to get out to the internet but it is not working. I am very lost and I have had a senior Cisco admin look at my configs and he is telling me that everything was setup right, but that I must have a rule in my firewall that is preventing me from getting to the web with my new vlan. Everyone else not in the test vlan can access the internet without any problems. Thank you in advance for any help. :cry

is that a L3 switch? when you have vlans you still either need to do it on a L3 switch or have a router in place to route your vlans. or have static routes

    KingSteve,

This is a L3 switch and I do have a router that right now points all subnets to my firewall. My firewall is of course my gateway... ex. (0.0.0.0 to 10.X.X.X) I know that the VLAN is working because I can hit all my servers on my network and on my remote locations but cant figure out why I get no internet. Thanks for the reponse STEVE!!
