VLC help

I have VLC shortcut on my Desktop and I right click on my Taskbar and Pick Unlock.

And I try to Drag my VLC Icone down to the Taskbar and it wont go on the Taskbar.

I have win 7. and I did this with Thunderbird and Mediamonky why wont it work with VLC?

Am I doing something or not doing something right?

 

Strange... this SHOULD work, even if your taskbar was still locked. (I just tried)

There are other ways of doing the same thing, however. Try opening VLC media player, and then right-clicking it's icon on the task bar, and selecting 'Pin This Program To The Taskbar'
