We are using a third party software site to create our own DVD's using their graphics and music. There is an option to upload our music, but it only accepts mp3 format. I use VLC Media Player and none of our music files are saved to this format. Is there a way to convert/save our music tracks to mp3 so that I could then upload to this site so that we can add our own music?

I am using Desktop XP SP3

    Cheers

Since VLC is primarily a player, it won't really do what you're looking to do.... try this:
    Switch http://www.majorgeeks.com/Switch_d5886.html
It's a multi format audio conversion tool and can convert to & from several formats including mp3, wma, wav, and others. Oh, and it's F R E E ! ! !
    :-D

Good luck! I hope this works for you!

After downloading this great free program, there are a list of options on what software to install, so if anyone else is wondering which to use it is the Switch Sound File Converter :)
Works and absolute treat and easy to convert from .wma to .mp3 or whatever.
