Vlc Media Player

Hey there, I bought a refurbished laptop. Part of what they do when they refurbish, is completely dump most of the software connections. On this particular machine they have disconnected the DVD player from any software.

I like the VLC player software so I loaded that onto the laptop. I've tried the usual software associations, but still when I load a disk, nothing happens. I have to choose the open and disc and play to get it going.

Would to do us a video on associating software, when the usual way doesn't work?

 

you might have to set VLC player as default in default apps if you are using windows 10. Also you might have to change the autoplay settings aswell. Hope this helps
