Man, is this thing ever sweet! http://www.pronetworks.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbup.gif The software itself is way faster to install and load, and is very easy to configure plus it has 4 CPU support as opposed to two with the regular one! Also better W7 support.http://www.pronetworks.org/forums/images/smilies/dribble.gif I don't know how long the beta is good for nor if they will charge for it though their current player is a free offering. Give it a shot! http://www.pronetworks.org/forums/images/smilies/yes.gif

(BTW, I use this for quad folding and it is great, pins all the CPU cores yet allows normal operation by editing the .vmx file with "priority.ungrabbed = "idle".)

An update, it works great with my Q6600 W7 and 2 GPU's but on my AMD X2 XP install it just kills my GTX260 production to 'zero'! Same type of setup etc.:confused Anyways, I've had too much :banghead for tonight. Gonna relax with a :drinkor three.:) I'll keep ya'll up to date.

I dl'ed this beta tonight and I'm using the notfred appliance in 4 instances to see what kind of points this i7 of mine will get. So far it's maxed out the CPU.:eek
Temps are in the mid 60's C on the cores.
Does drop to 99% every once in awhile. RAM usage is 70% so far on 6 GB so we'll see what happens overnight.

Great man, maxed CPU is normal! :p:-D Glad your temps are cool.(OMG:innocent:p:-D) Each instance of VM takes 0.5GB, so 2 per notfreds makes total sense, or 4 GB's give or take. Make sure to change the username/team eh?;)

I know maxed out is good, just hadn't seen it with the Windows SMP. Individual cores would max but even with a GPU taking 12 - 15 % in the background at times I never saw more than about 80% for total usage.
RAM utilization up to about 78% now but temps are steady across all cores at 64/65 C. (Keep all appendages away from the machine.rolleyes)

Just make sure that this isn't killing your GPU production. It should be at low priority and the CPU at idle. You have a FahMon running to check that?

Tried setting FM up to monitor but I got something wrong somewhere and at that point it was time for some shut eye.:-o
I had shut down the GPU while i was setting this up and left it down all night.
I popped in real quick this AM before I headed out the door for work and resumed the GPU so I'll see what production looks like when I get home this evening.
RAM was up to 83% and temps had actually dropped 2 or 3 degrees. Cores were showing 60 to 63C and still 100% utilization.
(Might have to get some more RAM at this rate. Who would have thought 6 GB of RAM was light-weight on a work station set up?;))

Well, finally got FahMon at the correct folder.rolleyes
You were right about the 36 hours augie. Should see some points by tomorrow.
Temps are back in the mid 60s so it was probably the ambient that caused the drop this AM.
I'll do some fine tuning this weekend.
