    Hi Guys,

Just wandering if anyone out there knows of any applications that allow you to use your microphone to speak and change your actual voice, like the old Creative Sound Blaster Live! Cards included software did, like change your voice to a chipmunk, Or a Deep Devil, Alien, etc? I have been desperately trying certain keywords in google to search, but it leads me elsewhere, never to software that I am after, and I cannot find my old Creative SB Live! install discs, but without the card I don't think the software would install or even work on my laptop with a realtek HD chipset anyhow.....

Also, I have been fiddling around with Text to Speech software, so far I have only managed to find really crappy applications that do it, with the default voice schemes, as I was hoping to customise my windows sound scheme, so instead of those terrible windows dings and dongs sounds, I was hoping to have custom wav files, so for instance, for the Start Up / Log On sound I would have a voice saying "Hello David, Welcome Back".. or for logging off / shutdown I wanted to have "System is now shutting down, Goodbye"... etc I really wanted to customise ALL the windows sound scheme that was allowed into voice sentences customised by me, but all the software I have tried so far doesn't work properly, or sounds too robotic...

MorphVOX® Junior is free voice changer software that will modify your voice to match your personality. You can sound like a man, woman, or little folk. Built-in voices and sound effects make this voice changer so convenient to use.

Its made by Screeming bee I have used it and is pretty good here is a link to its home page:

    Hope this helps

    Greetings, ExOxE...

    Here's another one:

This is not a microphone changer, but the SayIt program by AnalogX is a great old synthesizer app that I've used for years. Just type in your phrase, play with the modulation, pitch, etc. and preview or render (which outputs to a 16-bit .wav). You can plug the .wavs into your system sounds if you wish.

I just downloaded it to a Win 7 64-bit machine - works like a champ.

    Hi big8082004 & Caliban,

Thank you heaps for taking the time out to point me in the right direction, I have just downloaded both these applications and are about to give them a go. I will post how I do, again, thank you heaps, I spent half the night searching for these types of apps and ended up back at square one.

    Cheers,

    David
