Does anybody here have _any_ idea why VOIP would require Internet Explorer to be set to accept ALL cookies for it to work?

Magic Jack said I had to do that, but it sounds to me like they are just setting me up for spamming. I told them I never use IE, but they insisted it had to be done anyway.

I've heard that Magic Jack does have ads or adware.
Run Malware antibytes after the install and see if it finds anything - but removing it may stop the phone.

"You also understand and agree that use of the magicJack device and Software will include advertisements and that these advertisements are necessary for the magicJack device to work ... Our computers may analyze the phone numbers you call in order to improve the relevance of the ads"...
Any claims, legal proceeding or litigation arising in connection with the magicJack device or Software will be resolved by binding arbitration ... in Palm Beach, Florida."

Did you intend to say something about them demanding that IE accepts all cookies?
