    Hi,

    I have a little problem.
When i for example want to listen an mp3 the balance slider in volume control of windows jumps to the right, thus hearing the sound only from 1 speaker.
I can shift the balance back, which gives me the satisfactory sound on 2 speakers.
but the balance jumps each time when for example a new mp3 track starts, it also happens in games etc.. very annoying.

Who knows what this is\causes and how to fix it.

    Thnx.

find the volume control icon in your taskbar (lower right hand corner)
right click and open volume control
set your properties the way you like and click apply
    that should set the defaults
if that doesn't work-what are you using to play the mp3s?

thnx, seem to have found the problem.

the balance in my winamp was fixed and overrides the windows balance in response.
