VPN and XP Home edition

    Is it known whether XP Home will join a Domain over a VPN?

    I have a VPN connection showing on the remote router but there is no ping nor network share available to the remote PC. If the remote PC (XP Home) is brought in to the office it connects as a domain member, at least the user gets all the shares, etc.

    The login is the same user when remote or in office.
