Can anyone tell me how to have my VPN connect automatically when I log in?

I put a shortcut of my VPN in my startup folder, but when I log in it just brings me up to my connection screen. I want to take it one step further than that and have it just automatically connect without having to click "connect".

    Any help please?

Well, what are you VPN'ing into? A Cisco Pix firewall, Server 2003 ect...

Server 2003.....all I did was go into the server, set up an incoming connection on the main server, and a client connection on the client side (a notebook running XP Pro). I put a shortcut of the VPN connection in the startup folder of the client computer, so that when it starts up, the "Connection" dialog box pops up, but I just want it to automatically connect without having to click "Connect". A co-worker of mine told me there was a way to do, but he can't seem to remember. He said it was in the properties of the client connection, but I couldn't find it.

Easy, right click your vpn connection, not the one on the desktop the one under network connections. Go to properties and then the Options tab. Uncheck the "Prompt for user name and password" and that should do it.

Why didn't I think of that.

Thanks! I knew it had to be something so simple.
