VS 2008 epxress fails

    : I cant run silverlight 3 anymore with Visual Web developer express2008. I re installed VWD and then silverlight tools.

    I see the option to create a SL project but when i do I get a 'object reference not set to instance of an object'.

    I run a silverlight app and i get 'project type not supported'

    I can re install everything eg VWD 2008 express and then silverlight SDK 3.

    The problems started when my DVD drive became faulty on my lenovo laptop and had to close down windowsXP with off button. I ran check disk and no issues but something is wrong.
