VSO convert divx to DVd crashes when operating

By mistake i posted this message in the removing malware forum but have now been directed to this area, so hopefully some one can help me with my problem. VSO and any other AVI to DVD convertor cuases my pc to stop during the conversion operation. There are no error messages the pc just hangs, and you can do nothing with it.
Here is my Hijack this log just in case it helps. Not sure if this will help.
