the adaware plugin does not remove it
spybot s&d will try to repair it over and over but wont get rid of it

shows up as: HKEY_USERS\s-1-5-18\software\mxtarget
and............ HKEY_USERS\default\software\mxtarget

You are running HijackThis improperly. It needs to be in its own folder - C:\Program Files\HijackThis

Your log shows very little to worry about. Once HJT is in its own, safe folder, you could have it fix:

O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {08B0E5C0-4FCB-11CF-AAA5-00401C608501} - (no file)

This is just mild tidying up - Nothing major.


I suggest you look in Add or Remove Programs for anything related to mx-targeting or TwainTech. Also, note any other suspicious looking programs that you may find.
