w00t! got me results!

yaay! got my GCSE results.... lowest grade was a B and thats what i got in german, art and eng lit (all of which I'm really bad at!). 7 A's and 3 A*'s... in chemistry physics and design.

I think you deserve every bit, including the B in German. *pats brain*
However I know what you mean, when I did my Welsh GCSE, I didn't put in a lot of work, I worried a little, but the exam was too easy. Heh, most of it was multiple choice!
I think the Welsh exam board designs it that way though, so the Welsh Assembley can publish results saying:

"99% of GCSE students passed Welsh language with a C or above, if this trend continues, by 2025....blah"

To get an A or a B, I hope is more difficult, and significantly so, because saying I passed Welsh seems almost fraudulent!
But that's the fixed Welsh system.

Yeah, it's hard to find something to attach the valve to. Plus, what kind of valve is it? Is it a pressure release valve? A gas valve? A tire valve? Is it for hot water or cold water? Is it an inline valve, or a shower valve? Or maybe even an exhaust valve. See, it's really hard.

What is the difference between an A* and an A? Is it just the top or upper end of the A band, if so, why didn't they shift the grade letters up a band?

No.... the grammar school across the road (girls school, incidentally... ) has another letter which is X. Get an X in somthing and you are a right boff.. I expect the reason our school didnt implement this is because the examining boards havnt either.

Im well proud of mine too, 9 A's (8 A's and one A*) and one B, in Industrial Tech.

my highest mark was 100% in one english exam... and my 'best' mark, IMO, was 88% in my maths
