W2000 Freezes when loading personal settings

I can open, log in one user just fine, accessing files and getting on the net.

But another user (me) encounters a frozen screen when my personal settings start to load (after network settings, security settings, etc)

When I try to log on as administrator I am told my account has been disabled.

Any ideas?

 

I did run Norton System Works to check for registry problems, but still no result. How do I get access to the config/boot up file that must be impaired preventing my settings from loading, upon logging on as a specific user?

Appreciate your help, vast ocean of geekiness.........

 

Oh, and I did get on and change another users' privileges to "Administrator" group, so I now do have access to my files through her login, but still can't load up my own desktop.
