Since installing Search and Destroy, my anti-virus software keeps picking up the following file on its real time scan continuously - "C:\WINDOWS\System32\nasdwz.exe. I thought this might be a detection of a file in S&D. It is unable to clean or quarantine with access denied. The continuous pickup of this file led me to try uninstalling S&D to see if it would remedy the situation - it did not. I was also unable to delete it myself from its location - stating something about access being denied or write protected or being used. Any ideas on how to get this off and whether or not it was part of Search and Destoy. And if it is, is their a way to shut down its recognition if it is a harmless file. Thanks ahead of time.

Been away from home for a few days. I read the tutorial and followed most of the steps - I was unable to run 2 of the 3 online virus scans from safe mode of windows (I assumed I was to run those from there - if it is possible). Anyway, all other steps came up with nothing about the file while NAV still picks it up in the real-time protection scan. So I turned off NAV so as not to go batty from the messages. I will run the Hi-Jack This program after reading the tutorial and let you know if I am unable to manually remove the file. Thanks again.
