W7 keeps crashing after clean install

    Hello! It seems that my wife's Acer Aspire 1410 is having a driver issue. Or at least I think its a driver issue. She wanted to start fresh so I used M$ usb tool put my W7 oem disk onto a flash drive to reinstall W7 (clean install) Ever since then I cant seem to keep it up and running without it crashing. Not sure which drivers it is. The BCCode is 4e. I am currently running memtest to doublecheck the memory. Seems fine so far. Not sure what to post for reference.

    I think its your Drivers are not up to date

    I didn't do this because of all the "bloatware" that comes on it pre-installed. I didnt expect there to be a driver issue though.

    However, I did take my time installing drivers first from windowz update and things seem to be ok for now. I haven't really had a chance to use it but it hasn't crashed or restarted on its own yet.... Fingers crossed

    I have an Acer Aspire (netbook) and when I made the restore/recovery disks, it also prompted me to insert a disk just for the drivers. I haven't had to use the disk yet but I suspect if I had to search for a driver, that disk would be contain what I needed.

    Look in the program listing under Acer then Acer eRecovery Management. Click on it and when the window opens, the 2nd option is Create Drivers and Applications Backup. It is nice to have a disk with everything on it just in case one or two items get corrupted.
