W7 OS Reload - Can I Delete Windows.old?

    I had to reload Windows 7 OS and the reload created "the" file "Windows.old" My question is, can I just right click and delete this file? (without consequences I mean).

    Everything is working just fine, I am worried about the longevity of the space I have left in the SSD - windows updates, more programs, etc, the space is tight.
