    waiting for google-analytics + Firefox

I use Firefox for a browser 'because MSN IE is full of things that make browsing a chore especially if you need more than one tab' ;)

Recently I have been noting a kinda freeze happen to my machine while waiting for google-analytics which is displayed at the bottom of my browser page. It may take up to 2-3 minutes before this malady finally finishes and frees up my machine.

I have seen multiple notations on the net concerning this peculiarity but have not 'really' found a viable solution to make it 'go away completely' while using Firefox.

Any 'helpful' advice would be appreciated.

I use an old Sony machine for which I play mostly internet games on and am not at a financial situation where a robust mega PC could possibly solve my problem.

I use spybot to clean my machine of malware etc. Run Norton Security Suite. Have a firewall on my machine and Netgear is my router.

    Thank you kindly M8s.

    B~
