Wallpaper Changer

Hi. I have win 10 home. Been using Deskslide for a long time now. Have always shut down computer when not in use. Come back on the computer and the wallpaper changes on log on. No problem there. Been trying Hibernate when turning off the computer. I like that, only trouble I'm having is the wallpaper is the same as when I close down for a few hours. What I'd like to know is there a wallpaper changer that will work coming out of hibernation ? I know about that right click and change wall paper thing, But, wow , I can save myself two clicks. (HA ) Thanks for any help.

 

Hibernation is essentially a file that is written so you can simply return to where you were. It's not the same at all as logging off or shutting down.

 

Max is right, putting the computer into sleep mode or hibernation will do nothing to change the wallpaper when you wake it back up.

You could try pressing Shift + F10 and Press N. Or Hold the N key and Right-Click.

All in all, there is nothing really wrong with just having the wallpaper timer do it's thing or taking the extra second to right click and click Next Desktop Background (IMO).
