    I'm runnning windows xp. If one user changes their background, other users background changes also. How do i stop that from happening

    :) Since I don't know what you have tried, I will start with the most basic thing I can think of first. First run all of your virus scans to make sure you don't have any sort of nastys on your system. Virus's and spyware can cause all kinds of problems. Does each of the users have their own account and log on with their own name and make changes in their own name? In the process does it ask a question "Do you want this action for all accounts" or something similiar to that? Have you been getting any error messages? Do a system check of your whole computer, make sure everything is working properly. Try this and see if any of it helps. If you have already done these things. Then you may have downloaded a program that may be causing you a problem, sometimes they are carrying nastys in them.
