I have a client that wants to use his RW-CD Rom Drive to do back ups much like they use their floppy drive for now. He has 100 CD-RWs so he's ready for the task.

He's using Roxio. I told him to install Nero, but I tried Nero here and it doesnt allow me to do that.

He wants to drag and drop his data onto the CD-RW at the end of the day, and then open the document on the disk, make changes, and save it again to the disk (like a floppy).

Is there any software that will do that?

    He's running XP-Home.

Nero includes a program called "InCD" which does what your client requires.
Roxio in earlier versions used to have "Easy CD Creator" last time I used it some years ago. Of the two I prefer INCD. Both require reformatting the CDRW for that particular type of operation.
