I have a HP Photosmart 6510 wireless printer connected to a Windows 7 wireless PC and I have decided to hard wire my( Cisco) router's ethernet cable directly to my PC for faster d/l and u/l times, however now my printer won't recognize or communicate with my printer. Can I set-up my printer to be wired? I don't see any USB ports on this printer! Thanks!

Here's the manual for your printer - http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c02983796.pdf

Wireless Control feature - Page 8
Rear USB port - Page 7

If you use the wireless feature on the control panel on the printer, you can turn off the wireless. The USB port is on the right side of the rear of the printer as you look at the rear.

If you reinstalled the printer after removing it from your computer, you could still use it wirelessly as it would be communicating with the router instead of the computer directly. Just a slight change in set up but critical.
