Want to donate present computer how do I de-personalize it?

    You can tell I am new at this! I'm not a total techno dimwit but am not at all adept at unloading personal data. Son bought us a new PC for Christmas and want to donate this present model; how do I get rid of all my info on it? Any suggestions or instructions would be of great help.

    I have 'identity theft paranoia' !
