A HijackThis log is not a useful indicator of whether a PC has malware or not. In fact it is far from an effective tool to determine this which is why most forums have stopped asking for HijackThis logs. Proper scanning procedures for malware need to be run to know if a PC has malware or not and these procedures require several different tools/scans to allow one to properly evaluate a PC's malware status.

CTFMon is related to the language/alternative input services in Office XP. CTFMON.exe will continue to put itself back into MSConfig when you run the Office XP apps as long as the Text Services and Speech applets in the Control Panel are enabled. Not required if you don't need these features. You can read more about cftmon and how to disable it from running in the below link:
