Is anyone aware of a decent grep utility for the Windows command line (preferably Open Source)? BareGrep works really well but it's GUI only. I'm looking for something that can do regular expression matching on searches issued from inside of a batch file. Being able to redirect the output to a file is a must. Windows' findstr says it supports RegEx but it's really pretty limited. I'm looking for something like findstr but more robust, which can do RegEx pattern matching. I tried searching SourceForge and came across two utilities: FART (Find And Replace Text) and pgrep; however, neither appears to truly support RegEx. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for the response, foogoo. I am somewhat familiar with Cygwin, as I have used it very minimally in the past; however, I'm looking for a grep utility which will run natively in the Windows CMD environment without the overhead of Unix emulation. The link to the "GNU utilities for Win32" lists a grep utility which looks intriguing but the download links appear to be broken.
