warcraft3 crashes

i was able to play warcraft 3 previously on my computer. but i didn't touch it for a few months and i can't launch it now.

the warcraft 3 folder auto closes when i try to open it. when i tried to run the game, the launch for warcraft works, but the game auto crashes (i can't even see the main screen of warcraft)

i've tried reinstallation, but it's still the same. any folder that is named warcraft iii, even those new created empty folder, just auto closes when opened.

can anyone help? thanks.

 

I would say you need the current patch. You can download these here -- http://www.blizzard.com/support/?id=mwr0642p should hopefully work once patched
