I missed downloading Windows Messenger Remover when I first saw it available(9-18-2004 15:09). Now the RSS link either takes you to a page with a blank middle (file info completely removed) or now to a page to D/L SmartBarXP. Was MG forced to remove this utility that might have helped in ridding us of another flawed MicroSoft product that otherwise only causing varying levels of problems?

It is spyware. But, at least they are somewhat upfront about it. As augiedoggie points out, it is in the EULA. I (like others) failed to read the EULA and was infected. Zone Alarm notified me it was trying to call home. I was then able to rid my machine of it...I think :)
