    but help me
everytime i do anything, or even if i don't do anything, i get this pop up.
    it's from messenger service

    and says
message from microsoft registry to microsoft user blah bla
warning your registry is corrupted. then it has this instruction to go to a site download something to fix the computer.
but i have to pay for it. so i figured it's a virus or something. i have norton virus 2006 yet it doesn't seem to get rid of it.

that's not only it. other messages pop up with messenger service.

how do i get rid of it?? i rebooted my computer recently because of this problem but it's still not gone.
    help me please. thank you

A Malware check as suggested by 'theefool' is very
important and to end the messages you're receiving get THIS:
    Security | Shoot The Messenger

    Disable Messenger Service.

For XP (?), Start, Run and type in services.msc , then scroll down and highlight Messenger.

Double-click and stop the service and Disable the startup type, then Apply and OK.
