watching tv on my comp.

does anyone know how i can watch and record tv shows on my comp? When i go into stores, they are often times playing tv on all of their computers... how can i o the same?

 

you will need a TV Tuner card (or USB device). I suggest looking at the websites for Hauppage (the most common brand in the UK) and Terratek, a German company that makes cheaper ones (including the one I use).

I don't know about overseas but here in USA you can use a sling-box. This attaches to your cable box at home so that you can access it through the internet from any comp. http://us.slingmedia.com/page/products.html
