WAYLT Stats

I had some time to kill so I indexed WAYLT. Probably one of the biggest wastes of my time, especially as I can't type (two finger hunt and peck) but I enjoyed it. I haven't worked with a data base for some time so that was a brush up too.
One thing I became aware of... I'm not a fan of jazz. augie and mjnc drove me crazy with this because so many of the video clips have numerous artists and no song name. I researched what I could to come up with info. Some of the "techno" was the same, so hopefully in these catagories I have the information correct. Other artists I'm unfamiliar with I had to check to be sure their name was spelled correctly and that I didn't mix up artist and song names. You don't always know which is which. I think I credited songs to the correct member who posted.
There is very little country in the thread...not a bad thing, most of it is sraight up rock. thisisu wins the ear killer award, but I like most of those posts. Coal Chamber is a great name for a band.
There's lots of broken links, those that still had the artist name and song I indexed, but if I couldn't find any info then they were left out. So you may not find every song you posted.
Also many multiple posts by the same members. Initially I was indexing then regardless, but I got tired of that, so those I know I'd seen before I left out. And same artist and song posted by multiple members is left in.
Some stats if anyone is interested. These are indexed, some were left out because of reasons above)

The thread was started August 10, 2010 by Mimsy and obviously is still running. that's 20 months.

I would like to post the index but I haven't been able to figure out how. I can snip the pages to my Photobucket account then link them to MG but I don't know how to do that. Maybe someone can help me with that. Or if someone has another idea. The database is part of Microsoft Works.

Augie used to drive me nuts with that Jazz too:-D And I let him know it sucked every chance I got,didn't deter him though I think it made him post more:-D

Every couple of years there are music, joke and "post a continuing sentence" type threads. They are born, live for a while, and they eventually die. Such is the life of internet offspring.
