WD external hard drive

I have a WD western digital 160 GiG external hard drive. My problem it fell off my office desk a short distance 2 feet. now when i turn it on i here it click three times and it stops. it will not show up on my computer. can it be fixed so i can get my data off it. thanks

 

If its readable bye windows i would try Recuva

I would start bye trying the error checking

check disk option see how many errors there are.

 

If it was plugged in and running, the heads most likely crashed into the platter, and you are pretty much SOL. No way to rescue at this point.
