WDS trying to remote install Vista

    I am able to upgrade a RIS server 2003 sp1 to WDS server and remotely install Windows Vista on a PC while on the same VLAN. When I move the same PC to another location in the building, where there is a different VLAN, the PC is unable to connect. My WDS server is not a DHCP server, nor do I have that option. DHCP servers are present in the network along with AD and DNS. I know there is some small detail I am not seeing. Any help appreciated.
