I tired the Weather Watcher forums, thus far I have only gotten an odd question in reply.

Weather Watcher is stuck. The systray icon shows the correct weather info. The balloon shows the correct weather info.

The actual Weather Watcher window however has not changed since the first time it fetched local weather data.
It still says it is Wednesday, 54 degrees and so on...

I tried both install versions... slim first, then bundle, neither work correctly.

I tried changing Active Cities... no effect. I tried using the city code instead of the city name... no effect.

Why is it stuck? How do I get it unstuck?

    XP Home
ZoneAlarm - yes, WW has permission.
    Weather Watcher 5.6.22
    Spyware Guard
IE is not my default browser, Firefox is.
I do not have WW set to display Maps in browser, but in it's own window.
Using default, Splendid, skin... since I read something about other skins having 'issues.'

No need to reply to this thread the problem is solved.

If you are reading this thread because you encountered the same issue, the solution to my problem was as follows:

I had installed WW using my Administrator Account.
I was attempting to run WW on my normal account, which has limited access for internet security purposes.

I simply had to log back on as Admin then move the WW program folder to Documents and Settings\All Users\Shared Documents.
Next I right clicked on the WW folder, selected Properties. Clicked on the Security Tab, selected my normal (limited) account's name, and altered the permissions for that account. Specifically, I put a check in the box to allow me to Modify... no other alterations are needed or advised.
Then logged back on in my normal account.
    Presto, problem solved.

A note, I did not bother trying the regular Admin log on, I just went into safe mode Admin out of habit.
