Web Browser Broken, Both Wireless and Wired connected and pingin

    Both IE and Firefox will not work. Wired and Wireless are connected and pinging inside and outside the network. Scanned with Symantec - nothing, Spybot - a few things removed. Malwarebytes - a few things removed. What next?

    I am running a fully updated Vista Home Premium version - Windows/Office updates work - but the web browsers do not
