Web hosting ideas

    Ok guys, the missus wants a website so she can sell stuff.
    She's a needlework designer and has a distributer but wants to sell direct as well in the form of pdf's.

    What she wants.....

    Domain name obviously, but a proper one, not the yahoo.com/user/yourdomain/001.com.org.net.

    Decent traffic space but not huge, around 1gb or so.

    The ability to easily add a cart and paypal options.

    No popups and no ads

    Preferably free but if not then inexpensive since she doesn't make much money at this, especially with the finacial climate the way it is right now.

    Any suggestions of good hosting would be muchly apreciated :)

    You might look at DotEasy - I've been using them for years with multiple sites, never a problem.

    The free basic account does not support MySQL or PHP (the paid-for account upgrades do), but it does support the free PayPal cart.

    Give Office Live Small Business a look over HERE, can sort your domain name out with them also as part of the setup as well as you are getting your site hoested on a MSFT server, they do have tools for e-commerce.
