Web Mail Access problems

First off many thanks for your site as i have downloaded both ad aware and spybot which have cleaned a lot off my system!

The problem i cannot seem to solve is that whenever i try to log into hotmail or yahoo mail the page is automatically changed to a search engine page. My home page listed in internet tools has been altered to http://213.159.117.134 I can change it but when reopened it will be the same. I am not sure whether all these things are linked but am trying to give you as much info as i can or more accuratly understand! I have run a search for 'hosts' and come across a file which has a lot of undesirable sites not just my local file. I can delete this file but it just reappears if i do another search immediatley.

My operating system is windows 98

I would be very grateful for any help you can give me, just please remember my technical knowledge is limited but i can follow step type instructions!

Ya been hijacked. Go up to the Spyware forum index, and read through the Stickys-- the third one first, and then the top one. Check back if your solution isn't there.

hi guys,

first let me say that i'm very happy to have found this site! I've been fighting with my browser for a couple of months now, but it keeps getting back to either searchmiracle or a porn site. Can't change it! i've downloaded search bot, but that doesn't fix the problem either, so i dowloaded hijack this and this is the log file....can anybody help me out?
