Web Page History Automatically Deleting Itself

Hello MajorGeeks,
During the past few days, I have been working on a spyware issue which is detailed in my thread on the malware forum. I was not sure if this was the right place to bring this problem because I don't know if this problem has anything to do with that issue, but the problem started right after I am almost positive the malware issue has been resolved.

What is going on is that either every day or each time I turn off the computer, the history of web pages I have visited is disappearing. Because I view and save the history, I have the utility IE History View installed, and just now when I checked it, I only saw a list of the pages I visited today (which is just over three hours old now). This also causes a problem when I type URLs into the address bar, because IE does not seem to remember those typed entered beyond two days. I do not use "Favorites" and rely more on the auto-completion when I start to type a URL. For example: To get to this site, I type "foru" and forums.majorgeeks.com appears in the Address bar. I do not want the History to automatically delete itself. I would rather do that when ready.

If I haven't explained things too well, please ask and I will gladly clarify. Thank you for any help with this issue.

I just want to add that I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I have CCleaner installed. I don't think it is always running, but just now I unchecked the Internet Explorer, Windows Explorer, and System categories under Windows that were checked by default and which were checked when I cleaned out the computer during the malware removal process. I can always re-check those options prior to the next use.

Please let me know if I should clarify anything and how to resolve this. Thanks again.
