Web page scrolling problem

Hi

Recently when I go on to the internet and try to scroll down, its hard to describe, its like a wave runs down the page, it does not scroll smoothly, I'm using windows XP pro, I think it may have something to do with HD cleaner which I downloaded the other day, I may have deleted some duplicate files, some would not let me delete, however there may have been others that I should not have deleted, anyone any ideas, thankyou.

 

What browser are you using? Are you using any special mouse software?

I'm using IE, as for mouse software I've just had the standard since first buying this computer a couple of years ago, never had any problems before, this has just started and as I said it seems to have started not long after using super cleaner in HD cleaners clean centre (what a mouthfull), however I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it. The whole page ripples as I scroll up or down.

 

I have the same problem. I just lost my hard drive and had to buy another, reload my OS, Win XP Pro and then download a crap load of upgrades from Microsoft. Now I'm stuck with this vertigo causing wave. Help.

 

Thats the effect you get when there is no hardware acceleration in the OS. Reinstall/upgrade your video drivers. Getting the latest directx along with the vid drivers isn't a bad idea.

Also, if that doesn't work, then check the hardware aceleration levels under dxdiag.
